Vancouver-Island Central Coast (Zone 6) vaulted to the top of the podium in the girls pole vaulting competition at the 2014 BC Summer Games in Nanaimo. 

Much like its counterparts on the girls’ draw, the Fraser Valley boys’ C 3X3 basketball team took home the gold at the 2014 BC Summer Games.

It was a lucky day in the pool for Vancouver Island-Central Coast's (Zone 6) synchronized swimming teams, who captured the gold medal in both the Level 2/3 and Level 4/5 competitions on Saturday afternoon.

Another Towed Water Sport medal will be on its way to the Fraser Valley (Zone 3), thanks to Alexa Durand, who scored a 58.5 to give her the gold in girls 3 Slalom water skiing.

Thompson-Okanagan's Marcus Athans took home the gold for the boys, while Vancouver-Squamish's Marley Harman took home the gold for the girls.

Slavka Svancara and Zara Herbert shared a pair of golden smiles while standing atop the podium this Saturday, after winning the Level 4/5 Duet competition at the BC Summer Games. The pair dazzled the judges, earning an overall score of 64.0248 for their efforts.
