BC Games Volunteers

A volunteer Board of Directors for each BC Winter and BC Summer Games operates under a 14-Directoratre structure, with 75+ committee chairs, 100's of committee members, and 1000's of Games-time volunteers. This team of approximately 2,200 (BC Winter Games) to 3,000 (BC Summer Games) volunteers plan and stage the Games. Volunteer positions range from food preparation and service to transporting participants between venues, from managing competitions to medical services, from staging special events (like the Opening Ceremony) to establishing recycling processes.
