Members of the BC Games Family Win the Eric Whitehead Inspired Service Award

The BC Sports Hall of Fame held its 2020 Annual Summit virtually on Friday, September 18th, to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of curling in B.C. and to announce the winners of the Eric Whitehead Inspired Service Awards for 2020. Presented in partnership with the BC Sports Hall of Fame Foundation, these awards recognize inspired service in and to sport in B.C. and we are proud to say that all six of the recipients have been part of the BC Games family in roles such as Provincial Advisors, coaches, participants, officials, and sport partners.

A partnership was announced in August between the BC Games Society, Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I·SPARC), Cross Country BC and BC Archery to expand the Indigenous Participation Program in the BC Games.
