The Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club is getting ready to host the cross-country skiing event in the Fort St. John BC Winter Games from February 20-23, 2020.

Manitoulin Transport has stepped up as a major sponsor of the 2020 BC Winter Games in Fort St. John. They will be offering $65,000 of in-kind transportation services to help make the games a success.  

The Fort St. John 2020 BC Winter Games kick off in less than one month and over 1,000 of BC’s best emerging athletes have registered and are ready to be part of this celebration of sport and community which runs February 20-23.

 

Wheelchair basketball, Paralympic Cross Country Skiing, Special Olympics Speed Skating and Figure Skating; this February the City of Fort St. John will be welcoming athletes and spectators of all abilities.

Improvements that may have been many years in the making were driven to the forefront at Whiskey Jack Ski Club with the 2020 BC Winter Games on the horizon. A new stadium, timing hut, accessible washroom and a higher calibre and more efficient groomer are just a few of the improvements Fort St. John’s cross-country skiing community will be able to utilize following the games.

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is investing in the success of our community through a $60,000 sponsorship of the BC Winter Games taking place in Fort St. John from February 20 – 23, 2020.
