The BC Games Society is creating the Powering Potential Fund to support B.C.'s sport sector, thanks in part to up to $50,000 in matching funds from the B.C. government.

The 2016 Premier’s Awards for Aboriginal Youth Excellence in Sport were presented  to twelve outstanding Aboriginal youth athletes from British Columbia including five BC Games alumni.

The BC Games Society has declared our commitment to erase bullying in sport and join with our provincial sport organizations partners in this province-wide movement to make sport a more inclusive and safe environment.

viaSport, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, the BC Games Society, and SportMedBC are all lead organizations in the sport sector and formed a partnership in the name of fun and physical activity for over 3,500 children celebrating Olympic Day at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
