CNC supports 2022 BC Summer Games as Community Partner

Prince George, BC- The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is supporting the Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games as an official Community Partner with an in-kind donation as a venue to support the local Games in July.

Director of Friends of the Games, Mindy Stroet shares that “both financial and in-kind support are so important to make the Games a success. CNC is an important hub for this event. It will not only be home to sporting events but is where all 3000 participants will be fed for the entirety of the Games.”

CNC has served the needs of students in B.C.’s Central Interior since 1969. More than 100,000 alumni have benefited from CNC’s career-focused programming in academic upgrading, business, continuing education, health sciences, humanities, trades, technologies, and university studies. The College’s role in professional cook trade training makes it the perfect food venue for the BC Games.

CNC President and CEO, Dr. Dennis Johnson says, “CNC’s mission is to provide access to life-long learning, and facilitate the achievement of educational and personal goals. We are excited to host athletes and their support people while they are in Prince George and wish them all the best in their competitions.”

The Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games is so grateful for all the incredible support received to date. With the Games less than on month away, we are still accepting cash donations and gift in-kind contributions. If you are interested, please contact Mindy Stroet.
