As the Games get closer volunteers are working to putdetails into place and finalize the plans to host over 3,000 participants this July 21-24.

On May 26, the Key Volunteers gathered to connect, re-invigorate themselves, and get ready for the last few months of planning. One of the details soon to be finalized is the merchadise for the Games. 80+ Directors and Chairs have been working for over a year and they need many more volunteers to join the team. It takes a community to host the Games - up to 3,000 volunteers are needed to stage the Games and create exceptional experiences for athletes, coaches, and officials from all over the province.

The volunteer recruitment team can be seen all over Prince George and on June 5 from 10 am-4 pm they will hold a VOLUNTEER-A-THON at Canadian Tire. The goal is to sign-up 500 (or more volunteers) in one day! Plan to drop in and visit them! Bring a friend (or 2 or more!) and catch the Games spirt ... you may even win a prize!
