82 BC athletes will represent Canada at the 2010 Commonwealth Games including 36 BC Games Alumni including Brent Hayden (Swimming), Caroly Huynh (Wrestling) and Dylan Armstrong (Athletics).

Prince George was awarded the rights to host the 2015 Canada Winter Games. A past host of the BC Summer and BC Winter Games, Prince George will welcome the countries best developing athletes to compete in 20 sports over two weeks of competition.

BC Games Alumnus, Jeremy Bagshaw was selected as Canada's Flag Bearer for the Inagural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Jeremy joins other alumni, Shai-Anne Davis, Katelyn Hayward, Katie Reid, Brooke Powell and Christine Ridenour on the team.
