The Friends of the BC Summer Games cedar medallions came full circle on Monday.

Weeks of brainstorming, creation and construction were completed at the school that bears the name of inspiration behind the eagle design on the medallions - Robert Bateman.

The Abbotsford 2016 BC Summer Games kick off in less than one month and 3,210 of BC's best emerging high performance talents are registered and ready to be part of this celebration of sport and community from July 21 to 24.

viaSport, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, the BC Games Society, and SportMedBC are all lead organizations in the sport sector and formed a partnership in the name of fun and physical activity for over 3,500 children celebrating Olympic Day at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
