The Nanaimo 2014 BC Summer Games and the Nanaimo District Teachers' Association have made an agreement that will see the BC Summer Games proceed as planned.

The Nanaimo 2014 BC Summer Games kick-off July 17 and over 3200 of BC’s best emerging high performance talents have registered to take part in the four day event.

Though she is only in Grade 11, Jenaya Pynn is already a BC Summer Games veteran having competed in 2012.  She will volunteer her time at the 2014 BC Summer Games, July 17-20.

The Nanaimo 2014 BC Summer Games in partnership with PacificSport, is offereing a series of coaching certification workshops as well as concussion clinics.

The BC Games Society announced today the 19 sports that will be part of the Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games.
