The BC Games Society welcomes five new members to our Board of Directors including Olympians Simon Whitfield (Triathlon) and Dave Calder (Rowing), as well as Rochelle Winterton, Sarah Zimmerman, and Chris Graham.

The official countdown to the 2014 BC Summer Games kicked off April 11 with the Torchlighting Ceremony held at Nanaimo’s Maffeo Sutton Park.

Thank you to the thousands of volunteer who work tirelessly to make the BC Games an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

The team of mission staff who will lead Team BC to the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George has been announced.

With just 100 days to go until Nanaimo welcomes participants to the 2014 BC Summer Games,  the local community is invited to the official lighting of the Games Torch on Friday, April 11th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Maffeo Sutton Park.
