Spirits were high on November 19^th, as over 120 community leaders gathered to celebrate at a Key Volunteer Rally for the Nanaimo 2014 BC Summer Games.

The BC Games Society is pleased to announce that Rob Needham has been appointed as the Chef de Mission and Michelle Collens as the Assistant Chef de Mission for Team BC as preparations begin towards the Prince George 2015 Canada Winter Games.

New advertisements promoting the BC Games have started airing on Global BC and feature Olympian, coach and volunteer, Eden Donatelli-Green and her daughter Janie Green.

The BC Games Society invites Provincial Sport Organizations to apply to be part of the 2016 BC Winter or BC Summer Games.  Application deadline is February 14, 2014.

The BC Games Society and Coast Capital Savings announced a new three-year Corporate Partnership that will support the BC Summer and BC Winter Games and recognize BC’s best young developing athletes.
