More than 2,000 of the province’s best young athletes are arriving in the Cowichan Valley for the opening of the 2018 BC Summer Games, and the chance to compete for glory in 18 sports.

The Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games will take place in the traditional territories of eight First Nations. 

The Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games will kick-off on Thursday, July 19 with an Opening Ceremony that will inspire, delight and entertain.

Local Singer/Songwriter Lindsay Elzinga has brought a new voice to the Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games with an original song titled "Colours".

The Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games kick off in less than one month and 3072 of BC’s best emerging high performance talents have registered and are ready to be part of this celebration of sport and community which runs July 19-22.

The BC Games Society is proud to announce $40,000 in funding from the Powering Potential Fund to support important equipment investments for four summer sports - rowing, swimming, triathlon, and wrestling.
