All Greater Vernon 2022 BC Winter Games participants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to maximize the safety of athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, guests, and spectators.

Greater Vernon will host the 31^st BC Winter Games February 24-27 2022, with 2,000 athletes, coaches, managers, and officials.

In the winter of 2022, Greater Vernon will welcome over 2,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from communities across B.C. as it hosts the 2022 BC Winter Games.  Leading a volunteer board as it prepares for the Games will be Val Trevis, who has been appointed as its President, and Teresa Durning, who will take on the Vice President role.

Fort St. John, Maple Ridge, Greater Vernon and Prince George have been announced as host cities for the 2020 and 2022 BC Winter and Summer Games.
