If you are going to be up on Silver Star mountain, there's always skiing! Downhill and cross-country skiing are two of the best ways to enjoy our winter wonderland. If you head into the woods, You can Cross country ski on more than 100 km (62 mi) of cross country trails at Sovereign Lake and SilverStar Mountain Resort.
If you can walk, you can snowshoe. The trail system at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre is perfect for novices and experts. Need snowshoes? Not to worry - you can rent then at Sun Country Cycle and Stussi Sport.
It’s fat biking season! Fat bikes are mountain bikes that are made for riding in the snow. Getting their name from the wide tires, fat bikes are simply mountain bikes made for riding in the snow.
