Vancouver overcame an early 1-0 deficit to beat Vancouver Island 2-1 in boys soccer this morning at the Matsqui Recreation Centre field in Abbotsford.

The local Fraser Valley team beat Caribou North East decisively 4-0 in their first game of the BC Summer Games.

The BC Summer Games are underway on the soccer pitch as Vancouver and Vancouver Island boys squads are battling this morning at the Matsqui Recreation Centre field in Abbotsford.

The countdown is on to the 2016 BC Summer Games in Abbotsford.  Participants and volunteers are in their final preparations getting ready for the competition in Abbotsford.

The competition at the BC Games can be fierce, and there can be no better example of that than the two medal matches that took place on Sunday morning in girls soccer.
