Shawnigan Lake's Tyler Lindsay grabbed his second gold of the 2016 BC Summer Games by taking top prize in the U-18 boys wakeskate event at Albert Dick Lake in Abbotsford. Lindsay's score of 64 was enough to top the event, which sees athletes riding a board that is not connected to their feet. Earlier in the day, he had won gold in the wakeboarding event.

Kelowna's Isaac Athens blew away the competition in the Under-14 Boys Slalom Waterskiing event Friday at Abbotsford's Albert Dyck Park.

Zakk Harman of North Vancouver soared to a gold medal Friday morning in the under-14 boys wakeboarding competition. Harman completed several tricks, including a backlfip, to top the field with a score of 70.5.

The countdown is on to the 2016 BC Summer Games in Abbotsford.  Participants and volunteers are in their final preparations getting ready for the competition in Abbotsford.

Another Towed Water Sport medal will be on its way to the Fraser Valley (Zone 3), thanks to Alexa Durand, who scored a 58.5 to give her the gold in girls 3 Slalom water skiing.

Thompson-Okanagan's Marcus Athans took home the gold for the boys, while Vancouver-Squamish's Marley Harman took home the gold for the girls.
