Minister of Tourism, Art, Culture, and Sport, The Honourable Melanie Mark, announces host communities for the 2024 BC Winter and BC Summer Games and 2026 BC Summer Games.

His passion for the BC Games was always front and centre when BC Games Society Honourary Board Member and Community Ambassador for Jazz Aviation Graeme Roberts attended the Games. He believed in the special role the Games played in communities and the lives of participants and volunteers alike.

Led by Co-Flag Bearer Nathan Hirayama, 51 BC Games and Team BC alumni set to compete at the Tokyo Olympics are able to attribute their first multisport experience to their developmental years in BC. These athletes and coaches are a living testament of the important role the BC Games and Canada Games play in the athlete development pathway to the highest levels of competition.

In exactly one year, Prince George will welcome up to 3,761 participants for the 32nd BC Summer Games. From July 21-24, 2022, the city will be alive with high performance athletic activity as the province's best young athletes compete compete across 18 sports.
