At the annual Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards ceremony, BC Games athletes, volunteers, and organizations were recognized including Basketball BC's Ross Tomlinson who was honoured with a Presidents' Award.

The BC Lacrosse Association was presented with the Wendy Ladner-Beaudry Sport Achievement Award at the annual Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards. 

The BC Games Society is pleased to announce that Debbie Coulter of North Vancouver, BC is this year’s recipient of a Sport BC Presidents’ Award for outstanding volunteer commitment and dedication to sport.  Coulter was recognized on behalf of her work with the BC Games Society at the annual Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards.
