| Marion Lay, an adjunct professor in the School of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia, was the founding president and CEO of 2010 Legacies Now. She was Co-Chair of the BC Games Society Board of Directors from 1996-2001. She is a founder and past chair of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity and was chair of the Vancouver 2010 Bid Committee and a member of the board of directors of VANOC, the organizing committee of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. A member of the Board of Directors of ParticpACTION, she was a founder of WomenSport International, founder and chair of the National Sport Centre-Greater Vancouver (now the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific), and a former executive member of the Canadian Olympic Committee. A two-time Olympian and an Olympic bronze medallist in swimming in the 4x100 metre freestyle relay at the Mexico 68 Games and a World Record holder in the 4x110 yd freestyle relay at the Commonwealth Games in 1966. She has been inducted in four Halls of Fame and has won numerous leadership awards, including the International Olympic Committee’s Women and Sport Trophy for the Americas, the Canadian Sport Award for Leadership in Sport and a YWCA Women of Distinction Award. Marion is currently the President and CEO of Think Sport Ltd a management consulting firm in sport and physical activity. In 2012 Marion was presented with the Order of BC. |

Greame Roberts (d - June 2021)

| A former Mayor of Nanaimo, Graeme Roberts served in senior executive and Board of Directors positions for a succession of public and private sector entities, local, regional, and national. He was Chairman of the British Columbia Public Service Commission and also served on the Boards of Air Canada Jazz, its predecessors, and the B.C. Ferry Corporation. Graeme was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia, and served on the Board of Directors of the Victoria Airport Authority. Among his private passions was more than 20 years of volunteer work in amateur sport for youth, seniors, and people with disabilities with the BC Games Society. In this cause he attended close to 100 Games and associated events in approximately 40 communities throughout BC. Graeme resided with artist wife Kathryn Amisson at Brentwood Bay near Victoria. |

Roger Skillings

| Roger was the President and CEO of the BC Games Society from 1987 through 1998. Significant accomplishments during his years included: expanded the Society’s delivery of professional services to the BC Senior Games, Northern BC Games and BC Games for the Physically Disabled; established the “Host Community Guidelines” to assist volunteers with their event management responsibilities; created a Host Community financial legacy; and initiated the beginning of stronger sport development connections with provincial sport organizations. After leaving the Society, Roger became the President and CEO of the Commonwealth Centre for Sport Development, and later the CEO of Canadian Sport Centre Pacific. He holds a B.Ed. from the University of Victoria and a M.Sc. (Sport Administration) from the University of Oregon. Roger was a nationally ranked tennis player and continues to coach tennis. He and his wife Barbara have raised two sons. |
