The BC Games have shaped the lives of thousands of British Columbians over the past 40 years but in many different ways. We want to see what the BC Games mean to you. What is your #MyBCGames moment?
Are you a volunteer who got involved in your community? A spectator who cheered on a young athlete? Are you an athlete who achieved an important goal at the Games? Or maybe you are just now working towards the dream of being part of the BC Games? Whatever your BC Games experience, we would love to hear it. Share your story and picture with #MyBCGames
Rules:
To enter, post your best BC Games photo using the hashtag #MyBCGames
on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Include a description of the photo (max 100 words) and how it shows your BC Games experience.
Only photos submitted with the contest hashtag #MyBCGames during the contest period from May 7, 2018 to June 15, 2018 will be considered.
Limit of five original entries per person and entries must be an original photo of your own making
Ensure all individuals pictured have given their consent for their image to be used and shared.
Selection:
A BC Games panel will review the entries and select finalist photos which will be will be featured in a BC Games Facebook album with the winner selected by the most number of likes.
Selection Criteria:
• Quality and visual interest of the image
• Captures a personal BC Games experience
• Demonstrates originality and creativity
Prize:
BC Ferries Vacation package including round trip ferry and a 1-night stay in Victoria for two adults.
