Fort St. John, BC – The Host Society of the 2020 BC Winter Games, in partnership with ProMOTION Plus and the BC Games Society, is excited to announce the opening of nominations for the ProMOTION Plus Leadership Award, which will be presented on February 21 at the Games.

The Leadership Award was developed by ProMOTION Plus, whose mission it is to promote access and opportunities in sport and physical activity for the women and girls of BC. ProMOITON Plus, under the umbrella of Sport BC strives to and recognize the achievement of individuals and organizations who through their work (be it professional or as a volunteer), have created or developed opportunities for women and girls in BC to participate more fully in sport or recreation.

Additional Information
General Criteria:

To identify, recognize and celebrate the accomplishment(s) of an individual, organization, or group in BC that has challenged the traditional limits for women and girls in physical

Nominations may include but are not limited to the achievements of athletes, teams, coaches, officials, administrators, or volunteers and programs or special events, which increased or enhanced opportunities for girls or women.
