Day 2! Thank you for your amazing work today. Your support and dedication to these young athletes is unbelievable! I am still buzzing from the Opening Ceremony and I am now feeling inspired as I take in such high caliber competition. As I took in figure skating earlier today I knew that I was watching future Olympians - so inspired!

Our volunteers have been stepping up today in amazing ways:
- Stake Lake, host of the cross country skiing competitions, had some technical issues with the national anthem earlier today but that didn't stop volunteer, Deepa Filatow, from stepping up and leading the athletes, parents, and spectators in the anthem. Video here.
- Volunteer, Brandon Olds, has been putting together great recap videos of the individual sporting events. You can see them on the BC Games YouTube channel and leverage them for your stories.
