Brock Hoel of West Kelowna claimed his third gold of the 2016 BC Summer Games by winning the aquathlon - a combination of swimming and running - Friday morning.
West Kelowna's Brock Hoel added to his medal haul Saturday morning by winning the aquathlon - consisting of a 300-metre swim and a one-kilometre run - Saturday morning at Albert Dyck Lake in Abbotsford.
Hoel, who won both the triathlon and duathlon Friday morning, dominated the event, finishing in 7:52, more than 20 seconds better than his nearest competitor.
Keegan Ingram of Summerland claimed silver, coming in with a time of 8:14. Ingram has claimed silver in all three triathlon-style events.
Reece Landry of Delta grabbed bronze with a time of 8:30.
