Kelowna's Isaac Athens blew away the competition in the Under-14 Boys Slalom Waterskiing event Friday at Abbotsford's Albert Dyck Park.
Athens' solid run topped five other competitors. Kaden Scott of Mission claimed the silver, while Braedon Muise of Prince George won bronze.
In the under-14 girls event, Halle Gainey of Kelowna narrowly beat out Victoria's Amanda Chambers for the gold.
Grace MacNaull of Kelowna claimed bronze.
