Over the coming months volunteer recruitment activities will pick up for the Greater Vernon 2022 BC Winter Games. The Games, which were postponed from the original February 2022 dates, are back on in 2023 and will be held March 23-26, 2023 (during spring break).

A reinvigorated excitment is building in the Greater Vernon area as the community comes together for this second opportunuity to host these Games. Many volunteer recruitment events are being planned for the coming weeks and months - keep an eye out for sign-up locations at community events - or sign up online right here, right now!  

As many as 2,000 volunteers are needed. That means that the 100's of volunteers who were signed up for the 2022 dates are most definitely still needed -- you will be contacted by a volunteer coordinator in the coming weeks to confirm your role.

Many additional volunteers are also needed!

There are many varied positions that need to filled - from driving courtesy cars to serving food, from coordinating medal presentation to entering results, from providing medical coverage to check-in at accommodation sites, and so much more!  Ask your your friends, family, colleauges, neighbours, and business associates to volunteer - maybe plan to volunteer together!
