BC Games Society welcomes new President and CEO
The BC Games Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Noble as the new President and CEO of the organization.

“The BC Games play an integral role in sport and community development in BC and I know the society will continue to have strong leadership with the announcement of Alison Noble as the new President and CEO,” said Minister responsible for Sport, Lisa Beare.  “Alison’s abilities to bring community and strategic partners together will further strengthen the BC Winter and BC Summer Games, while continuing to provide opportunities for our next generation of athletes, coaches, and officials.  I join my colleagues from government in welcoming her to this important position.”

Alison worked for the BC Games Society from 1990 to 1996 as the Director of Community & Corporate Relations and as an Event Manager.  Since that time she had held various roles at the University of Victoria in Corporate and Government Relations and most recently was the Director of Operations for the Invictus Games in Toronto.

"It is with sincerest thanks and deep gratitude that we say goodbye to Kelly Mann as he steps down from the BC Games Society after 19 years as our President and CEO,” said Jamey Paterson, Chair of the BC Games Society.  “Kelly’s leadership, dedication and commitment to this organization has left us in an enviable position moving forward, and he will be missed.  It is also with excitement for what is ahead, that we announce the appointment of Alison Noble to the position of President and CEO.  We believe Alison will not only be a capable asset, but that her enthusiasm and vision for the BC Games will add great value to the society.  As Chair, on behalf of the board, I would like to welcome Alison to the team."

Alison will begin her role with the BC Games Society in October and will lead the organization moving forward to the 2020 BC Winter and BC Summer Games.

“I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead this organization. The impact the BC Games have on athletes, coaches, officials and communities is phenomenal and I am both excited and honoured to be part of it,” said Alison Noble, incoming President and CEO.
Noble will begin her duties on October 15, 2018.
