BC Games Medals in Excellent Hands

A request for proposal process for a medals contractor for the 2020 and 2022 BC Winter and BC Summer Games was initiated in the spring.  Proposals were evaluated by a review committee consisting of BC Games Society staff and board based on criteria including expertise and experience, approach, and pricing.

The BC Games Society is pleased to announce the appointment Clarkes Recognition Products Ltd. as the medals contractor.  Clarkes Recognition Products Ltd. had been the medal contractor for the previous period (2016-2018).  They provide top-quality products and are committed to providing excellent service.  We are pleased to have them back as our medal supplier.

“The BC Games medals that are presented are attached to the memories that athletes have of the Games.  We want them to be stunning and representative of the work put into achieving this milestone along their athlete development pathway,” said Alison Noble, President and CEO of the BC Games Society. “We look forward to our continued work with Clarkes Recognition to deliver this experience.”

"Our Team at Clarkes is so excited and honoured to again be part of BC Games and the wonderful community events they support,” said Peter Clarke, owner Clarkes Recognition Products Ltd.  “We want to wish Alison Noble and the BC Games team all the best in carrying on it's great tradition of sport, volunteer development, and community building with the future BC Winter and BC Summer Games events."

Clarkes Recognition Products Ltd. is a full-service family-run awards company that has been serving Canadian businesses, associations, and sport organizations since 1977.  They believe that appreciating people has a positive impact on people’s lives by “lifting the human spirit”.
