six individuals with ties to the BC Games Society included in BC Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2021

2016 BC Summer Games Board Member, Slyvia Peary, selected as 2021 recipient of the Order of Abbotsford for her longtime commitment to volunteerism. 

Joni Frei and Hunter Sones will join the 13 continuing Board Members who oversee the BC Games Society and contribute their unique expertise and leadership to build upon the Society‘s success in sport and community development.

The BC Games Society is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Both will contribute their unique expertise and leadership to build upon the Society‘s success in sport and community development.

The BC Games Society is sad to say goodbye to two wonderful board members who have contributed so much to the direction and scope of the Games. Since joining the BC Games Society Board of Directors in January of 2014, Simon Whitfield and Sarah Zimmerman have served six exceptional years and given their time, skills and insight to improving the BC Games. They will be leaving us in June of 2020 and we are so thankful for their dedicated service.
