Prince George, BC - Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games and Cap-Abilities Embroidery & Silkscreening Ltd. celebrate the unveiling of the official Games merchandise and online store.
The 2022 BC Summer Games merchandise is unique to the Prince George 2002 BC Summer Games. It reflects the exclusive brand, created by local volunteers. The colours and designs reflect the summer sunsets and the tagline, Spirit Lives Here – Njan Tsen Ghuna– celebrates the surrounding forests and unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh and the heart of athletes, hosts, coaches, and volunteers.
President, Renee McCloskey, states, “Games official merchandise is such a significant component to the spirit of the Games. We are delighted to unveil the merchandise and open online sales to both athletes and the public. We hope the community will support us in showing their Games spirit from now until the Games in July.”
Cap-Abilities Owner, Steven Mercedes states, “With the Games only 43 days away we are excited to see athletes, coaches, family and friends of the Games wearing BC Summer Games clothing.”
A portion of the purchase of 2022 BC Summer Games SpiritWear will go to the Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games Legacy, which is distributed in the community after the Games wrap up.
Merchandise can be purchased online at bcsummergames.ca or in person at Cap-Abilities Embroidery & Silkscreening Ltd. at 1313 1st Ave. Individual and group orders are encouraged and registered volunteers and Friends of Games receive a 10% discount on all merchandise.
