Maple Ridge, BC (January 22, 2020) - Did you know the BC Summer Games are coming to Maple Ridge this year? The BC Summer Games are a celebration of British Columbia’s sport and community. Since 1978, the BC Games have taken place in 38 communities and involved over 350,000 participants and volunteers and thousands more as spectators and supporters.
As the city gears up for the Maple Ridge 2020 BC Summer Games we're looking to you to get involved! Thousands of volunteers will be required from July 23-26 in a variety of areas. Whatever your skill set, if you're interested in volunteering, we have a spot for you!
Sports enthusiast? Community advocate? Just looking for fun things to do? We need you!
To sign up visit a local Save on Foods location in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows this Saturday, January 25 from 10am to 2pm. Locations include Meadowvale Shopping Centre, Valley Fair Mall, Westgate Shopping Centre and 23981 Dewdney Trunk Road.
The local organizing committee will be on hand to talk to interested volunteers about possible roles and responsibilities. Volunteer roles include medal presenters, set-up and tear down, drivers, social media specialists, writers, food services support, IT specialists, security personnel and much more.
