The spirit of “Show Your Colours” is on full display as athletes sing the national anthem during the kayak/canoeing medal ceremonies at Lakeview Park in Lake Cowichan. They cheered on not only their own teams, but all the participants. 

Bronze medalists from Zone 2 (Thompson - Okanagan) shake hands with silver medalists from Zone 4 (Fraser River) during the medal presentations for the Train to Train K2 500m event. 

Charlie Toth from Coquitlam says that he has loved his BC Summer Games experience so far. “Kids have a lot of options and chances to find what we’re good at.” His Zone 4 (Fraser River) teammate, Lucas Fong from Port Moody adds “I felt powerful today and my partner and I had a really good time. It’s nothing like I have experienced before!”
