W.R. Bennett Award - 2010 BC Winter Games - Jordan Rosborough

Jordan Rosborough, a speed skater from Winfield, was presented the W.R. Bennett Award for Athletic Excellence at the Closing Ceremony of the Terrace 2010 BC Winter Games.

Jordan won four gold medals at the 2008 BC Winter Games and captured four additional gold medals in Terrace.  At the time of receiving this award, he was ranked among the top 5 male skaters in Canada for both long track and short track speed skating, he had been identified as a high performance athlete within his sport, and he was a contender for both the 2011 Canada Western Games Long Track and Short Track teams. His passion and respect for all aspects of his sport shows in his commitment to volunteer coaching and mentoring to junior athletes. Jordan was a student at Kelowna Secondary School and was planning to attend university with the goal of becoming a physiotherapist.
